I haven't really read a YA book in a while and wanted to change that so this book was the best to start with I said and Boy what a book to come back with this Genre.Omg Tillie just took me on a truly emotional journey. Tillie has this amazing ability with her writing to grasp a story and turn it into so much more. Starting this book I was like "Yeah, this is a sweet book" to my husband Then all of a sudden I'm looking at him who thinks I've lost it. With big fat tears running down my face, It's like someone's just stole my last piece of cake. I ask for a tissue and he throws me the whole box. Says "by the look of this, you need them." Writing a review for A Thousand boy Kisses without giving anything away is hard as there's so much that I could say. But this book needs you to go into it without any spoilers as its a book that has to take hold of your soul and not the views of what others have given away. It's the most beautiful book I've read in a long time that has taken me a few hours to over come. It's bittersweet and felt so real like I was a friend looking within. Poppy and Rune are the most perfectly written pair that gives you a dual POV that helps you understand the full aspects of there growing life's. Your be thrown into the thermal of how young people act through there experiences and what an experience it is. This book may be a YA novel but it's written in a way that it's well mature and one that will hold my thoughts as it does right now. I highly recommend this book and plenty of tissues.
